Caen will be converting their Proprietary Bombardier Guided Light Transit System to a proper Tramway system by 2019. Sydney demolished their monorail line after it reached the end of it's useful life. So yeah... Cities shut down or replace functioning rapid transit systems.

This isn't solely a Toronto/TTC issue. The surrounding 905 agencies will also lose out with fare integration, and their farebox recovery is much lower than the TTC. As someone with a good job who lives in Toronto, but commutes to 'sauga for work, I could stand to benefit from fare integration...

Forest Hill makes more for Chaplin station. I prefer stations being named for cross-streets. I don't mind Dufferin North, Bathurst North, etc. If we're going to name stations after neighbourhoods, I'd like to see Oakwood changed to "Little Jamaica."

Trains travel really slow approaching Kipling too. Sometimes the line can reach Islington. I'm kind of dreading the move of MiWay buses to Kipling. I fear my commute will be longer due the approach to Kipling.

The Transitway stations look really nice, IMO.

Nice video and to the point. Not having the LRT link to the future Queen St. Rapid Transit would be a costly mistake for Brampton.

With Miway and Brampton operating the route, I hope their fare integration rules are relaxed a little bit and passes can be used on either a miway or Brampton bus on the 185. It would suck if a Brampton resident couldn't use their pass on a Miway 185 bus at Bramalea City Centre.
