News on retail chains (was: New Mall Retail)

STC's Hot Topic is very small and I only noticed the men's section selling only one type of pants, skinny jeans. There are no French on the labels inside the clothes.

    More Lost Toronto in colour

Don't know what happen to that streetcar. I know that former TTC streetcar in the picture was bought second hand from Birmingham, Alabama in 1953. All the second hand fleet from the U.S. were retired in the early 80's when C.L.R.V.s came into service.

    Target

With Kohl's and Target possibility opening their stores in Canada, maybe Sears should bring K-Mart back to Canada.

    Dundas Station - Renovations

Most likely around 1983 or 1984 because I have read old issues of Coupler magazine at the Metro Hall library. CP24 used to show old news from City TV, there was one from early 1984 where they interviewed riders what they think about the renovations at Dundas station. Most of the riders...

News on retail chains (was: New Mall Retail)

The theatre is a big improvement from the original Silvercities in terms of style and colours. Cineplex have recently switched to a different cinema seating manufacturer.

News on retail chains (was: New Mall Retail)

I feel I have to agree because there is a market for smaller size clothing because no one wants to shop at The Children's Place for clothes.

TTC: Dufferin Station Modernization (TTC, U/C)

I guess someone who was designing Wilson Station was high on disco at that time.

State of the big chain grocery stores

Freshco would work very nice at Regent Park instead of the Sobeys brand.

    Pay Toilets

The city should put pay toilets in the nightclub district and they would be very profitable on weekends.

Movie goers will not be bothered by the loud music from Circa anymore, for the time being.

    Toronto Toronto | King East Centre | 140m | 39s | First Gulf | WZMH

I think this new No Frills is a replacement for the old Valu-Mart on Sherbourne which is now a Dollarama and since it is near the Esplanade housing project, No Frills would be a great addition to the neighbourhood.
