would this development not include any public parking?

I'd be curious to know their motivation for this decision. The CA I mean.

the reason I live at arch is because the unit is 1200 square feet. no other building offers that size. anyways, the light store was demolished today.

I live in the Arch, you know, that place that you all think is a fucking dump (my home), and I'm pretty sure landlords can't ask for more than first/last month's rent unless you cannot provide any credit history - then things may change.

I find this extremely unlikely. More to the point, I don't believe it.

How is this socialism? Socialism is a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. How does this apply in any way to city planning and zoning?

I agree that the fencing has been changed. I went by there about 10 minutes ago and there's lots of stuff inside the fencing like scaffolding and porta potties that were definitely not there a couple days ago.

It amuses me that the local NIMBYs prefer this derelict mess than the actual development.

Honestly I think the color is because someone likes things matchy-matchy given the color of the surrounding FMC buildings. Pic from the 10th floor of main.

What blows my mind is that there are 1000s of workers/visitors at the FMC complex (outside of COVID anyway) and the development directly north of FMC is still sitting there doing nothing. Like what's the problem?

I live fairly close to this building and I'm paying half of 2250 for 1200sf in a newish build (2016). Seems overpriced for sure.

Someone told me today that cidex is going to be building in the huge lot north of the humptys on MacLeod trail. He said it's going to be massive. In the early stages right now. Grain of salt he used to work for cidex but no longer does.

Is this project happening?

Looks good man I hope this gets underway soon it would be huge for that eye sore of a site.
