Wow - generally I don't like layouts where you walk into your kitchen from the entry or have to walk past the kitchen to get to the l/r. This takes it to an extreme. You don't just walk past the kitchen but you in fact have to walk through it.

Neat idea but I find the courtyard seems somewhat forced into the relatively small space. I am also concerned that instead of bringing light into the space you are instead boxing it into the courtyard area. If you do away with the courtyard you could move the bedroom/washroom closer to the...

Don't limit yourself to the Financial District. Focus on the area bordered by King / Spadina on the West, King / Sherbourne on the East and King / College on the North. I lived in Mozo at King / Sherbourne - 15 min walk to First Canadian Place - and a great neighbourhood - St. Lawrence Market...

Concrete floors look great and are very durable but I've heard that they cause much more fatigue (legs) than other alternatives and are quite cold (unless you have infloor heating). Let us know how you like them after a while.

Why should I (someone who walks to work) subsidize your (someone who uses a free metropass) transportation? Why does this only apply to condos? Why don't they try establishing a transportation system that works? - subway routes where people live (eg Queen or King St) and get rid of those stupid...

Unfortunately it will be difficult to get rid of homelessness and panhandling. What bothers me is that some these people set up camp (literally in some cases) on our sidewalks. I have on many occasions had to step over them or walk onto the street to get by them. This is not good for them or me...
