I think this is great news. There is some tremendous potential to transform Yorkville. One step closer!

Toronto CityPlace: Montage + Neo (Concord Adex, 47 + 16s, KPMB)

Can anyone tell me what is going in the last parcel of land, right next to the Amsterdam brewery and just south of the planned subsidized housing and library and such? I have seen the master plan documents but cant quite recall. Thanks in advance!

    Leslieville / Studio District

I would definitely take the wall of condo's, with certain condition of course. Parking spots, in my opinion, are the lowest form of land use there is!

    Transit City Plan

Absolutely, its positive. Flawed to an extent, but at the end of the day its very positive. My only hope is that they would look at incorporating subways, where necessary.

Of course they aren't going away, but there are ways to build cities that can minimize the need for cars. Isn't there a better use for land in Toronto than 1900 parking spots? Thats an insane amount of cars and the traffic around there will become a nightmare!

    Simcoe St. Underpass & Extension

Thats what it looks like. Saw it while riding the GO the other day... looks like some sort of cut and cover is being done on the north side of the train tracks. The trench doesn't go directly up to Front, only partially.

TO is now 2nd most expensive city in North America

No disrespect intended, I'm just curious what you are referring to. Can you provide a couple examples of some of these cities and their visions and such?

    Transit City Plan

My preference would be for number's 5 & 6 first.

Thanks for the pic. Wanted to show the wife but could not find a good enough picture to show the horror that is this monstrosity... thanks!

Was there a couple of weeks ago. If you try and get through the fence security personnel will give you the boot.

    Toronto Toronto | Malibu Harbourfront Condo | ?m | 32s | Malibu Investments | P + S / IBI

Ive had my issues with the builder as well... and they wont budge. I have tried every argument and none were working... the only way to get the developer to take notice is to go to the media and kick up a storm. Good luck.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

I am in agreeance that we should just wait before blaming people and pointing the finger. Who knows what has really taken place here and what the motives are... negotiating tactics? Not sure, but lets just wait and see what happens.

A couple of things to the person that just moved in. What floor are you on? Im on 16 and scheduled to move in mid August... Im just curious if they are making good progress or not? In regards to the individual metering. I am of the opinion that it isnt a big deal. Somewhere in our...

Globe: Planning for new roads with a green blueprint

Perhaps so, but a variety of trends and studies are starting to show that driving patterns are affected by higher gasoline prices. We will see I suppose.

ABSOLUTELY! Id love to see this type of thing... any chance we can get to incorporate some green in our city, Im all for it!

Not at all - these pics show them as well as any I have seen... it just makes a big difference seeing it in person.
