Post 9/11 paranoia too. I’ve last count the number of times security or police have hassled me for taking photos. This didn’t really stop until everybody’s phone also became a camera.

And with the latest cuts (reallocations), getting to the GO Station has now gotten worse in Pickering and Whitby. I’d say Ajax too.

Might be an init update issue. A lot of buses were running yesterday with “A1” or blank signs.

It’s actually two routes shown. The 920 and 121. But buses no longer go up Altona Road. So you have to back track all the way and catch it at Liverpool near the beginning of the route. I tried planing the trip at rush hour and got the same result.

DRT was always pretty bad for this, but this is a new ridiculous travel plan thanks to the new route network. A trip that used to take under ten minutes now takes 30 minutes.

This is already happening with increased frequency in New York.

So far I haven’t found out what specific issues have been occurring with the BYD buses. Could be software issues. But a lot of the high profile cases mention problems with the batteries. Especially with range not meeting expectations. Though that’s not unique to BYD. TTC have gone through a few...
