I had the exact same thought. Looking at the renders, I think that brick wall will be hidden, and is the location where the main tower connects to the 3 story podium that will extend to the South.

It will be interesting to see how fast interior guys go through the floors once glass starts going up (in comparison to other builds). I imagine they must be a lot more prepared and have equipment/supplies staged with all the waiting they have been doing.
