    I read it. It's a quick read. Some new details but like most here lots of will already be known. In all honesty it's not written that well. There are some great chapters on the early ford history as well as the erosion of public trust in journalism, but I was not blown away by the book.

    My take is that Adam Vaughan's too dismissive, and when he does comment it's almost always something in the vein of "who cares." The clip of him I saw last night actually started with him saying "who cares" before he cut himself off and made the comment about Ford being a spent force. He doesn't...

    I would guess that the 109 "debates" refer to 109 "things" that both he and Smitherman were at together during the 2010 election campaign. I am sure one of his 20-year-old Senior Policy Advisors spent a week Googling and came up with that number.

    Citynews has a pretty tasty interview with RoFo regarding the Robocalls. I actually cannot understand how anyone takes this man seriously or believes a single word he says. It boggles the mind. Such a bully. He is Mayor Tommy Shanks.

    Long time lurker; excellent thread. Just wanted to make a small observation that a Star column from yesterday -- a fairly benign piece on Rob & Doug's vote yesterday in Council re: the Trudeau memorial -- appeared in the Crime section. Thought that was kind of funny.
