The city shouldn't be making public comments about an ongoing application until after a decision has been made, hence why it's usually the developer or CA's perspective that gets heard.

It's pretty telling that there are cranes up in nearly ever neighbourhood surrounding the CBD but none in the CBD itself except for the Marriott. And apart from a handful of office conversions and renovations to cultural centres, there isn't even an active proposal on the go.

Except that I wasn't talking about whether Calgary's cultural scene is accessible and nor was the author of the article.
