While I don’t love the window wall, good design and solid balcony cladding should save this. Curtain wall would’ve been better but these will still look decent.

Losing this design over this particular heritage building would be a damn shame. What’s being proposed will be genuine heritage in 30 years. What’s there right now is not.

Exactly. Having the signage isn’t the problem. I get why they want it up there. It’s only the one screen on the front that acc is really problematic. No reason why 3/4 sides isn’t good enough coverage, especially when this is not going to be the most prominent viewing angle of the building anyway.

This is going to look pretty sharp I think.

Get that podium a heritage designation asap!

People may not like the colour of cladding, but it is undeniably of high quality still. Like much else HP does. This just not just some cheap coloured panels slapped on the side of this building and I for one, really like it.

Please give us LED lights with colour! If any building can pull it off it’s this one. Green running along the edges would look great!
