Yonge and Eg is not great but I complained a bunch of times and take full credit for at least what seems to be more aggressive replenishment :)

Why is it paved in the first place?

A very protected bike lane from my recent trip to Ottawa where they obviously they take vulnerable road user safety seriously but no actually it's to protect the American Embassy.

I usually look for perfect handle bars 🤷‍♂️ Figure they are either newer or recently maintained.

Bringing Bikeshare to Toronto Island would be... interesting. The demand would be very high they could easily need 50-100 bikes and even more docks. The other issue is people do bring them on the ferry from the mainland. This could lead to stations being full on the islands. 15 extra minutes is...

I used an e-bike today. Gotta watch them pedals- they have a life of their own. I often recalibrate the pedals to be in the optimal position at a stop light, but they keep moving on their own and I would hit my shin. Ouch!

My fear about the e-bike expansion is that it will replace mechanical bikes. When an e-bike battery runs out it becomes a dud. TO BikeShare has not been good at moving these to charging stations. I'm concerned we will have fewer working bikes overall and fewer spaces to dock.
