Also: "Don't ever accuse me of cheating on my wife."

Well played. In my (our) defense, even a broken vox is right once in every quantum reality. Like Conrad Breen said, it makes me happy just to have lived this long.

Whether or not he is in rehab was never the issue. The issue is, this man needs to die ASAP. There. I said it for all of us. You're welcome.

I'm having trouble making a direct connection between Lambrinos and Di Battista. Pls help.

    My misunderstanding. Thanks for clarifying.

Jimmy I'm curious: you've previously said that Sandro's not really on speaking terms with you, to some extent based on what you have written in this thread. Has the animosity diminished, or does he say these things in spite of his animosity? I'm kind of picturing him cursing you and then...

I'm being very serious when I say that the above is insulting to the average muttering homeless guy (who has almost assuredly done less offense and damage to Toronto and its inhabitants than RoFo). On a less serious note, but tangential to the reference to homeless guys, "Hobo with Shotgun"...

While ^this merits only 1 or 2 (out of 5) tinfoil hats (it is, frankly, mundane, and the lack of a mafia connection is particularly disappointing), it's quite plausible. EDIT: Is "Rob's share of Deco" actually at risk? For one thing: I'm sure Hotmail Lawyer knows how to buy a pre-nup kit...

I'm more thinking in comparison to Miller's energy, but now that you mention it, unfortunately for all of us I have spoken to several Chinese (sorry, I guess that should be "oriental") businesspeople who have made the Chow-Ford energy comparison to me with a straight face.

I'm not sold on Chow because she doesn't leave me with the impression that she has the energy to do the job, but I'm interested in your assertions about her propensity to foolhardy spending. Is that based on anything in particular, or more of a generalized feeling about "the NDP"? Sorry about OT

Yeah, it bugged me then and I spoke up then. The great thing about RoFo is that it only took a few days for him to, once again, undermine even his most conditional supporters. More recently, we have had to stomach reading news about Mammoliti (EDIT: maybe it was Doug; dunno, works either way...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

It's actually comical to see that so many of this thread's newest participants feel that the rest of us need to stop trying to fill in the background on the crazy-ass Ford stories and just accept the version being pushed by the Fords. The conspiracy theories are a necessary part of triangulating...

Additionally, I will cop to having given the thesis five out of five tinfoil hats. I thought it was an elegant explanation for a strange set of facts, and one that fits with the Fords' modus operandi. Apart from the fact that it may not be possible to find a doctor who would do gastric bypass...

Do people not realize that they sound less trustworthy when they say things like ^that? Who am I kidding, ^that reads very much like a green-sheet for an investment product, which is also paradoxically both 100% BS and is believed by many people. You can't cure stupid.
  15. voxpopulicosmicum

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I'm not talking about capital punishment (or capital punishment by other means). Also, it would be a bit absurd to wish for (1) RoFo/DoFo to die AND (2) for them to cause the deaths of innocent bystanders in so doing. But, assuming their deaths wouldn't injure others, I don't understand why...

This theory "scans" for me; five out of five tinfoil caps.
  17. voxpopulicosmicum

    Rob Ford's Toronto

And yet it is somehow "poor form" to wish for their death. I just don't understand that. These aren't people-who-hold-different-views, but rather truly-scum-of-the-earth. Why is wishing for their death beyond the pale?

Isn't Muzik already a red light district?
  19. voxpopulicosmicum

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Yes, but that's just indicative of the short term market and lifestyle preference of the dwindling middle class. Medium to long term, wealth is consolidating in fewer and fewer hands. We don't "make" enough stuff here, and that's not a trend that's improving. Ford Follies are appalling, and...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

And "the crown" is a monolith that only acts in the interests of justice, and is not a bureaucratic entity composed of individuals who may act for reasons other than truth and justice. Just like the police. ^that's the unstated premise of your argument, just so you know. In what way does...
