  1. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

A timeless beauty and still one of the best high-rise buildings in our city.
  2. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Love seeing it gradually creep up to your level @BloorMan
  3. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

Ah yes, the angled extension. We are very lucky to be graced with such architectural excellence here :)
  4. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

I wish Toronto was a city with fewer zoning restrictions, no housing crisis and a much slower growth rate. Maybe then we could have avoided the slew of mediocre or just plain trash condos that have been taking over the city for the past 20 years
  5. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | Cielo Condos | 120.5m | 34s | Collecdev-Markee | KPMB

This city really loves its facadectomy...
  6. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | KING Toronto | 57.6m | 16s | Westbank | Bjarke Ingels Group

Love how massive the site looks right now and it's only gonna get more impressive.
  7. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | 191 Bay | 301.74m | 64s | QuadReal | Hariri Pontarini

1970s/1980's was such an awkward period for the skyline. It still hadn't hit that classic 1990s look yet and seemed incomplete.
  8. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Nice updates @globalexpress You have quite the obsession with this new Cherry Street ;)
  9. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | Corus Quay | ?m | 8s | Waterfront Toronto | Diamond Schmitt

Sucks to be them then. I'm sure they enjoyed their waterfront location regardless.
  10. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | Corus Quay | ?m | 8s | Waterfront Toronto | Diamond Schmitt

Corus may be losing a prime waterfront location from this deal. I'm not sure why they would be ok with this.
  11. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

I absolutely adore the cladding here. That is all.
  12. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | Aqualuna at Bayside | 61.87m | 18s | Tridel | 3XN

I was just thinking how much I hate the newer view of the skyline from the lake but to each their own 🤣 Yeah it's gotten better at ground level but I much prefer the more traditional look of the skyline with the bank towers dominating over the banal waterfront condos. Those are some of the...
  13. Riseth

Toronto Toronto | George Brown College: Limberlost Place | 52.5m | 10s | George Brown | Moriyama Teshima Architects

That missing row of cladding at the top is really bugging me lol.
  14. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | Quay House | 73.15m | 21s | Empire | Kirkor

You know if this were about 30m shorter I wouldn't mind it that much. The ground level experience doesn't look all too promising either.
  15. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

That's true of so many projects in the city unfortunately
  16. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 2) | 283.6m | 85s | Menkes | a—A

Only with a very inferior final product.
