Not a fan of them changing the crown like that. The old one was far more attractive IMO.
  2. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | 191 Bay | 301.74m | 64s | QuadReal | Hariri Pontarini

God, the bank towers were so gorgeous when they were first built and still stand the test of time.

Even a gloomy November day can't stop this from looking gorgeous. November 7, 2023

    Toronto Toronto | The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

This will be a fantastic addition to the city regardless of who takes space in the lobby. Apple backing out does not change a thing about this towers stunning design and high quality materials. Just wait and see in 2025 when this is beauty will be gleaming on the skyline.

    Toronto Toronto | 160 Front West | 239.87m | 46s | Cadillac Fairview | AS + GG

In 15 years we may see an entirely different office market with different demands and needs for office space thanks to the rise in work from home.

    Toronto Toronto | Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Why should we have to pay for that? I would want my tax money going elsewhere. Besides, the logistics of tearing down that expressway amidst all those condos and office towers without disrupting residents and employees has to be considered. I'm sure it can be done but I doubt anyone in a...

    Toronto Toronto | Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

The time to demolish the portion of the Gardiner running through the central waterfront was decades ago when it was empty. That area has been built up so much now that removing it would be far too complicated and more trouble than it's worth for anyone willing to fund it (not to mention the...
  8. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | 160 Front West | 239.87m | 46s | Cadillac Fairview | AS + GG

This is definitely one of the better additions to the city lately and it fits in so nicely too. The angled roofline and curves really make it stand out and the night lighting is the cherry on top.
  9. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | 8 Wellesley | Residences at Yonge | 182.15m | 55s | CentreCourt | Arcadis

Looks fine so far but the rapid pace of construction is what's really impressing me here.
  10. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | U of T: Schwartz Reisman Innovation Centre (Phase 1) | 64.8m | 13s | U of T | Weiss/Manfredi

Such a fantastic addition to this area and it fits in so nicely.

These aerial shots you've been posting @mburrrrr are incredible! 😍
  12. Riseth

    Toronto Toronto | CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Still another 30 floors at least if I'm counting correctly lol
  13. Riseth

Toronto Toronto | George Brown College: Limberlost Place | 52.5m | 10s | George Brown | Moriyama Teshima Architects

No offence intended to the construction workers or anything but progress here seems awfully slow for a low-rise building. It takes them weeks just to add a few more layers of cladding and it barely looks any closer to completion months after topping out.
