Yonge North Extension is on Metrolinx's list of priorities, and being a rapid transit project that crosses municipal boundaries, will be much easier to get provincial and federal funding than other infrastructure projects that don't.

This is the only real grocery store (and not even that great) in the neighbourhood. I truly hope it's replaced.

With Queen/Sherbourne on the short list of potential station locations, I would say this is quite appropriate for the area. Without the new station though, it would't be.

Anyone know if it will be possible to rebuild the connection between Aura and College park? I used it Monday and I found it actually very confusing and uninviting, I'm puzzled as to why they did it that way, almost as if the shops at Aura were intended to fail.

I could see the city approving a 300m+ building on the conference centre lot. This is a really good location to do so; with the 300m 1 Yonge likely to be approved just to the east, and the excellent access to TTC bus, streetcar, subway, GO bus and Trains, and a short walk to the financial...

I would call it small town main street style, which belongs along a streetcar route, not near a subway station. Anyone know if the proposal includes the parking lot?
