Well part of the answer is that Montreal does not have far less resources than Toronto. I pay 40% more in property taxes for my Montreal condo then I do for my Toronto condo despite my Toronto condo having a 33% higher market value. Toronto needs to take a good look at Montreal on lighting...

As someone who visited Toronto quite a bit in the 80s and 90s, for me, it was far more dull back then. All my friends from Montreal always say how boring it was back then and how now it is far more entertaining. Then again that is just my opinion and I'm sure some of the old timers here will say...

Nah. When it comes to food anything east of central Europe, Toronto does it much better. Except maybe Lebanese & Syrian cuisine.

The Montreal Ogilvy is older by 2 decades. And i believe the two Ogilvy's were completely separate. They've already begun with the transformation.

Ogilvy as we've all know it so far will no longer exist. It will merge with Holts and will be one store. So why would they expand it in other cities when they are basically ending it in its home city? Holts has big plans for Canada. Give it some time. It can't happen overnight.
