London on the Esplanade Condos (Cityzen) - Real Estate -

The furniture is beautiful. Fits in with the whole "London" scheme perfectly. I'm sure that the pieces were selected very carefully by the interior designer and are only a few of many more to come.

East Bayfront: Bayside (Waterfront Toronto/Hines/Tridel, Pelli Clark Pelli et al)

This is an absolute joke. Such a massive and soon-to-be iconic piece of not only Toronto Waterfront but CANADIAN Waterfront yet again gets destroyed by the Americans. How many great builders are there in Toronto? Plenty. This just goes to show you how Waterfront Toronto is at it yet again with...

London on the Esplanade Condos (Cityzen) - Real Estate -

I live in the building and to say that the amenities are incomplete is false. The gym and spa areas are open. The pool and a few other areas on not yet open. What's so ridiculous and frustrating about that? 95% of the people living in the building are renters anyways so be prepared to see these...

    Toronto Toronto | L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

I've spoken with an insider and this is completely, 100% false. The project is right on schedule. What the user describes makes absolutely no sense at all with the L Tower project. Perhaps the user has it mixed-up with another project?

The hoist(s) run through the elevator shaft(s), inside the building. Not as difficult a concept as one may have originally thought.

Take your awful photoshop "skills" somewhere else. You just made a mockery of a fine development, shameful!!

1 Front St. East is the address of the Sony Centre. L Tower is a separate building, on the corner of Yonge and Esplanade. There's no possible way it could have a "Front Street" address.

    Toronto Toronto | Waterlink at Pier 27 | 43.89m | 14s | Cityzen | a—A

With that in mind, would you like then to see the tower on the Pier 27/Waterlink sight fit in with these "mistakes on the waterfront"? Don't think so...

Cityzen and Fernbrook's Waterlink at Pier 27 Next Phases Proposed

I don't see how height is an issue. There is only one tower and I would assume that its height is restricted to that of something similar to the Westin Harbor Castle. The proposed project maintains the same sightlines as Pier 27 and Waterlink only the depth is affected as the project interacts...

    Toronto Toronto | L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

You must keep in mind that parking must be allotted for residents of L Tower, 5-7 The Esplanade, and public parking for commercial space in the podium of 5-7. Before going after the developer, look at what the city requires. Perhaps they had to decrease visitor parking and bicycle spaces to...

    Toronto Toronto | Waterlink at Pier 27 | 43.89m | 14s | Cityzen | a—A

What context? As of now, there is no waterfront, it consists of a run-down restaurant on a boat, a sugar factory, and some barren lands that WT is so secretive about (bayside, see east bayfront forum). This project is setting the trend for the waterfront, creating a previously non-existent said...

    Mississauga Toronto | Absolute World | 169.77m | 56s | Cityzen | MAD architects

A question that goes hand-in-hand with recent posts: If these buildings are in fact out of place at Hurontario and Burnamthorpe, where do they belong?? Please be thorough. I'm a firm believer that these buildings wouldn't look better anywhere else so I'd like to pick the brains of those who...

    Mississauga Toronto | Absolute World | 169.77m | 56s | Cityzen | MAD architects

Easy on the criticism...your sly, wordy comparisons are completely irrelevant and offensive. These towers are a waste? Mississauga is a great city and every great city deserves their landmark. Hazel is finally getting it. Kudos to Cityzen and Fernbrook, what they're doing for Mississauga is...

    Toronto Toronto | L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

The point is that public art space for local artists and enthusiasts has become less of a priority in Toronto. A competitive city is the creative city and as a creative city, the arts need to be nurtured. It was always the intention for the city to put up the money to build Artscape so I'm...

    Toronto Toronto | L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

The city backed-out of it's "Artscape" space (original podium) due to a lack of funds. I don't know much about this space other than it would have been space for Toronto to "celebrate the arts". Now they're spending $42 million on Nathan Phillips Square.

East Bayfront: Bayside (Waterfront Toronto/Hines/Tridel, Pelli Clark Pelli et al)

Anybody have insight on who has been or who might be awarded this parcel? It's strange because WT hasn't been very public with this parcel of land. Last I recall, developers presented their plans for Bayside, but that was back in the winter months. Any news on this?

You know what Damien? I'm really sick and tired of my fellow neighbours, fellow neighbours like you. You all talk about things you know nothing about. You complain but you're not involved. Were you at the meeting? If you were, you would know that not enough residents were present in order to...
