It's all so kitschy that I'd prefer it wasn't there at all. Are they calling this their art contribution? If so, it's a new low. Instead of this nonsense, they should have focused on the 'form' of the buildings, which look so janky and unimpressive.

Sort of related, where are the entry and exit points for the boring machines for this line? Am I right to assume one is Exhibition Station, and the other is somewhere in Corktown?

The Bgobgo light. Has a nice ring to it! It is nice to see these older structures of importance lit up properly. I hope something similar is done in the portlands with the eastern silo.

Personally I love WFH, which I am sure is the catalyst for the lack of lease up here... but I was recently visiting fam in Switzerland and I asked how the post-covid office world is there, and they basically told me almost everyone is back to the offices. There was really no debate. It's just...

Hospitals are the one type of building where if heritage is an encumbrance to good medical service, conserving it takes second priority to ensuring function and high quality service levels. I've been in this hospital a bunch of times, and I've been in hospitals as a patient for over a year of...

We should have a giant raccoon instead gnawing on a hydro wire. It’s much more “us”.

It’s bitterly cold outside at this moment, but If you dress for it, it’s totally fine. There is plenty of street use by pedestrians when it’s cold in Toronto, this mall will be no different, and certainly along the east-west paths within the mall, you will in fact be more sheltered from the...

I’ve always wondered why we don’t have the asphalt meet the lip of the concrete curbs. Is there a good reason this is the case on new roads in Toronto?

Went by today and the place was super busy. It was also mistily drizzling outside.

^As I was scrolling down through the photos, I was saying this exact thing! (You beat me to it.) It could be their actual slogan, and if it isn't maybe it should be?

Sure looks fake to me. Everyone is upzoning while interest rates are high.
