Saw this one today, not sure if it has been posted about before. Corner of 34st and 3rd Ave (Bowness Rd) in Parkdale. More buildings and less old ugly fences along this stretch would do wonders for the area.

The Design changed at least 3 years ago, looks much more similar to this document (shared by niteryder about a year ago) than the render on the front page. Looks like it was VE'd further though as the white brick was replaced by white lapped siding.

Reminds me of when Exit Wounds filmed in Calgary, was supposed to be Detroit but the Calgary Tower made an appearance haha.

I think Calgary is perfectly suited to stand in as "Generic City USA" in much the way Vancouver does, especially if Generic City gets snow lol.

I switch to winter tires in early november and back to summers early may. All depends on the weather and if there's snow to shred in the mountains lol.

I ride past that a couple times a week and never noticed lol.
