I’m sure it’ll get replaced

Proper shots of 16 York shot this evening, showing the progression of exterior elements. The lines at this intersection are pretty amazing! Especially with the strip light on the underside of the canopy as well as vertical lines of the ceiling lights inside the lobby. Shots by me.

when you love downtown you expect to see light and hear noise. That’s part of living down here. I tend to like looking at bank logos and signs right outside my window.

Haha, well that under light strip I guess could be visible, but so is the existing Telus logo, lights from ten York.

True, I would assume infinity residents are the ones that see the lights. MLS and Ten have non residential podiums taller then the ice canopy. I will say though, I can imagine it will be not so nice to live in infinity lower levels facing the ice courtyard

It runs the under side of the perimeter of the canopy so not sure how anyone could see it from their suites. The one on the section around 16 seems to have a diffuser on the light. Much softer. Hope they do the same to the section around ice

just need that fence to come down so we can FINALLY have our sidewalk back

York St is now open both sides of the street. Finally.

This makes me happy to see! Can’t wait for the full road and sidewalks to be open again!

Sadly it's the vast amount of Airbnb / STRs that visit the building - They often do not care about the place and use it as a hangout. Building security is only responsible for the tower components, CF is responsible for the ground level - it's CF that needs to ramp up security in the ground and...

Looks like CF has been slowly fixing the deficiencies in the ICE courtyard - They planted new trees / added shrubs to planters. Also got rid of the people parking in there. Looks decent now - finally! Hoping they pay attention to the inside area of the PATH inside ICE - and eagerly awaiting what...

Noticed they had the underside of the canopy illuminated (in testing) the other night (sorry didn't snap a photo) - the same lighting that surrounds the canopy around ICE. CF owns this portion so here's hoping they leave it on permanently!

I'm liking the looks of the ground level a lot! Looks highly designed. Liking the tones and 'fins' happening at the roof. Hope it has some sort of illumination up there! Photo Credit: Wallman / City of Toronto
