Wow, I didnt go that far back, thank you!
Few other suggestions then (I love reading these, they are amazing)
Jessie Ketchum Park
Harbour Square Park
St James Park (they just renovated it)
Very cool!
Is there a diagram somewhere floating around that shows what this intersection will end up looking like? I see a lot of curbs and what looks like areas for bike lanes, but its a bit difficult to understand
Unless they put the pavilion right on the west shore, the view will be obscured. Plus it looks like the viewing area for the skyline will be pretty significant, so I dont see any way that it will be missed
I kind of figured those skylights could be opened, but the question is, HOW are they opened? Is it with pistons? Does someone walk on the glass to open them?
Interesting none the less
Is there any real reason why it's not fully enclosed? Like, why leave those little gaps on either side? If it rains or snows at all, there will still be some coming through those gaps.
Either way though, it does look stunning
Also worth mentioning is the TMU is opening (has already opened?) a campus in Cairo apparently? I remember seeing something about that in their blurb about the new name.
And also in that list you mentioned, Lakehead has an Orillia campus as well as the one in Thunder Bay.
I know this is a bit of a stretch, but why is there such a significant hold up on GTAA's part? I thought they mostly had their grand "Union Station West" plans figured out and was just waiting for the city to confirm Eglinton and GO connections?
Also, I know it will be called "Science Centre" for the sake of consistency, but it's a little weird that the Flemington Park stop will actually be closer to the science centre...
Is there a reason why this cap at 157m is still existing? I know that it stands as a precedent, but given the growth of the area, why have more proposals not tried to push this higher?
