Makes me wonder how many retailers are kicking themselves for not signing a lease during COVID, I assume the retail makeup would’ve looked very different in another universe

Perhaps they meant the high cost of upkeep (and high cost of the valuable land it takes up) relative to the percentage of people it moves in and out of the city compared to other forms of transportation and routes.
I can't put words in their mouths and verify that "they don't care about you" if you don't pay but I can quote their own mission statement to "connect communities". A problem with Toronto transportation is how agencies/departments can be indifferent to other forms of transportation not directly...
Probably giving too much credit to them but Metrolinx, as a government entity that's tasked with transporting people across the province, should definitely care. End of the day the people they serve aren't paying passengers but the residents of Ontario.

Would’ve been amazing to have a PATH connection to The Well. Hopefully as Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Union Park, and the parcel on Front and Spadina are developed over the next decades PATH extensions are considered.
