    Certainly going at a high pace now. They started on the steel just 3 weeks ago, and they've had more progress in those three weeks than the previous 3 months.

    Duplexes are a good option. I've lived in duplexes a couple of different times and to me personally, it didn't feel any different than a single family home. The first duplex I lived in was older and didn't have the best sound protection, so you could hear the neighbors a fair bit. Never had that...

    Let's hope common sense prevails and it gets removed. A large number of houses along 24th ave are rentals, I presume the owners of the properties would be happy to see multi-family zoning.

I've spent a fair bit of time at the Good Earth across the street and a lot of the people coming and going from the building are of different ethnicity.     I like that idea of using an improvement tax to bury telephone poles. It doesn’t have to be done everywhere in the city, but it would be great for high profile areas.

    I know not everyone likes the 6 storey wood frame projects, but they have been a game changer for boosting density. I expect we will see a lot more projects like this.

    Along streets like 4th street or 5th street you could do higher density, maybe 6-8 floors. Rowhousing is fine for side avenues.

    6 unit developments on corner lots is the hot new trend. Fine by me, it's a good way to boost density without overwhelming the surroundings.
