It’s interesting (to me at least) how they continue to build around the heritage stub as if it’s not really part of the development. Pretty sure similar projects — One Yorkville and 19 Duncan come to mind — had the heritage portions integrated directly into the structure from the beginning. Or...
I walked by this the other day. It’s looking great, but one smallish quibble.... I‘m not sold on the stripey balcony panels. Did anyone else think they were going to be wood/wood-esque? What they‘ve gone with is suggestive of the tiled mensroom walls in my local multiplex.

Based on the photos posted throughout the day, it looks like there were no workers anywhere on site today? Odd, given how much was going on last week, including the elevators and area above the ramp. Hope all is well!
I find my attention keeps getting drawn to this, which looks like some kind of mechanical building that will not be contained within either the short or long fins. It’s noticeable from a number of angles.
So, uh, don't get me wrong, I think it's an amazing building, but I would have liked it even a liiiiiitle bit more if the diamonds had been lined up on either side of the indentation -- like this -- instead of staggered. ?
