Green Party of Canada: Leadership Race

She is the type who insists her success is all her, while her failure is all other people. I think most saw that in her straight away. She takes no responsibility, it was all racism and misogyny.

Proof that you can do something respectful, functional and attractive if you put the effort in to it. Well done!

Love the way it follows the sweep of the street, very elegant, the exterior materials may age well.

Will Justin Trudeau's Liberals win every seat in Toronto again?

You're right we don't know that these charges were unfounded. We also don't know that the Libs didn't know about the charges. The Star quoted the selection committee as saying they were disappointed that Vuong wasn't forthcoming, but isn't it part of the committee's job to vet the candidate...

Will Justin Trudeau's Liberals win every seat in Toronto again?

I am yet again going to be a dissenting voice here. He has not be convicted of any crime and he was selected for the election. There is no doubt Vaughan had his ducks in a row when he announced publicly that he wasn't seeking re-election. Mr Montrealer thought Vuong was a good bet so here we...

    St Lawrence Market

WOW the 20th century with all it's flying saucers must have passed you by. The Market is visited by people from other countries, not sure if you are aware of that, and other countries have other currencies, even if paying by credit card. WOW.

Will Justin Trudeau's Liberals win every seat in Toronto again?

There is no reason for him to resign, he wasn't convicted of any crime. I hope if he wins he goes and sits as an independent - the Libs will have to bow and scrape to get Toronto Spadina-Fort York's MP to attend another photo op.

Referencing something called "exchange rates" what is CAN$ is not always the same price in other currencies.

    St Lawrence Market

It is still on all night and day. FYI it is *theorized* that song birds don't nest near buildings that are lit 24/7 - I looked that up because the heritage office building at Church & The Esplanade put up new lights in 2016 and within 14 months songbirds had stopped nesting in the alleyway...

Vuong ticks the boxes, that's all.

Will Justin Trudeau's Liberals win every seat in Toronto again?

I think after Thursday's bizarre 1930's-like shriek-fest downtown Bernier may have shot himself in the foot. Heard it on the radio and actually thought it was a joke, so very like the wind-bags of the 1930's - quote "we are going to win because we have science on our side". I kid you not.

Toronto Toronto | St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

The big deal is the difference between weekday and weekend traffic, both pedestrian and vehicle. When the tented temporary north market was a parking lot, there were few cars using it in the weekday but come the weekend it had a turnover of vehicles within a half hour, same with on street...

    St Lawrence Market

because of course it's so good to charge $17 for a jar of mustard??!!! The city must be pleased that so many citizens don't have a problem with gouging and disrespecting the omnipotent tourist.
  16. R

    St Lawrence Market

apparently the city have never heard the phrase "Light Pollution". Do these lights stay on all night? That means in the winter they are on for more than 12 hours. Good for the city? Why are you afraid of the dark?
  17. R

    St Lawrence Market

I disagree, don't think Market Street should be pedestrianized at all. When the North Market is back on Front Street the one way street will be useful again, even more so when/if the market's lower level is reconfigured. It's a bloody nightmare with all these pedestrians all over the place...

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

and what the hell is with closing off the Jarvis east bound ramp to the Gardiner? Didn't this thing just open? Didn't the city just do years of construction to put it in place, and now it's closed? Seriously?
