Sometimes I go through this thread just to see what Edmonton could have been. Every time this post saddens me because that is my favourite style of architecture which Edmonton is missing due to being a younger city.

It would be a shock if the Bay is not paying its rent. The company considers the South Gate location to be the flagship location of Edmonton.

This picture is nine years old and nothing in it has been completed. If Edmonton was located in Europe/Asia it would have been completed five years ago. Side question, is Festival Line still being planned to be done? I would assume that would be the next stage after Valley Line.

South Gate Station needs a pedway connecting the station to South Gate Centre. There is an escalator right where the entrance could be. It would make it much less tedious.

It looks perfect. It's going to be Edmonton’s Empire State building when it's completed.

Every time I take the LRT and pass that area, I’ve always wondered if anything was being planned for it. It's nice to see something is being planned to potentially happen there.
