All of the businesses along Grosvenor are now closed and papered over, as is the Mr. Sub and the hair salon.

Terrible architecture, sure. But mountainous??

You're right. I live in the building, and they were testing the water feature in the fall when the building first opened. It looked great! Plus the sound of the water helps to (gently) muffle some of the street noise on the terrace. I'll post photos in the spring once its up and running again.

This is really bad.

True! I live here (moved in a month ago). I think the whole building is occupied save for floors 45-50. I feel bad for anyone who AirBnB'd here this weekend - the insuite heat was out for floors 4-29! The property management rented a few hundred space heaters and were loaning them to residents.

Right, I agree, they are night and day. But what I'm saying is that when the community ardently opposes both great projects like Westbank and crap projects like this one, what incentive does that give for developers to even propose great projects? Why not just propose a cheap pile and hope to...
