    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Not people - cars. For all we know they're carpooling and the street is transporting more people in cars.

Is it Sukhothai? http://www.sukhothaifood.ca/parliament/ Phenomenal food in this neighbourhood - Dark Horse coffee is around the corner, and Souk Tabule just a few blocks away

Any real Bathurst Bridge enthusiasts on here? Have you bought the t-shirt? https://tresnormale.com/collections/urbanity/products/bathurst-bridge

Thanks - it makes more sense now, and I agree about the "crossing" of lanes.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Agree Steve, in practice it seems to be a grey area. I'm a slow and deliberate cyclist who is happy to cede the right of way to a car. A faster or more aggressive cyclist might feel differently. It's not always easy for a motorist to tell which type of cyclist they're dealing with, based on a...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Back in the bike lanes this week. I've been a bit lazy this winter, and in spite of the good weather have only cycled about half of the days so far. I picked up this G&M article on twitter - it seems to be about the Richmond/Adelaide lanes, judging from the photo...

Why does the render show a podium/tower at Queen/River on the NE corner where the Humane Society building currently is?

It was on the market a few months ago - it was owned by "Me to We / Free The Children" and used as office space from what I can tell. No store presence at street level.

I also vaguely remember this - do you have any other detail? EDIT - I found it myself! http://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/2005/agendas/committees/te/te050330/it004a.pdf

    Barrie Collingwood Railway (BCRY)

This is my thought as well - that track is in awful shape, and trains were limited to 10-20kph if they ran at all. Wasn't there semi-regular service to the Mist whiskey plant more recent than 20 years though?

Wow - page 31 is an epic walk around pre-re-development Regent Park. Well done, @Mustapha ! It's a gift that keeps on giving

Isn't the "then" photo facing southeast (with Commerce Court in the background)? Is so, then the now view would be...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

There have been some small changes lately to help make the bike lane network more useable. One I can think of is making Temperance Street in the Financial District 2-ways. This helps incoming morning commuters as they can now take a right and access the Bay-Adelaide towers, plus Scotia Plaza...

    Cabbagetown

I too haven't given the Parliament St Beer Store a dime - I only return empties there. In addition to the LCBO, I would suggest the Amsterdam Brewery in Leaside. Blonde (lager) and Big Wheel (ale) are cheap by the 24 - about $32, and you get an extra one free so it's nearly a buck a beer...

    Cabbagetown

It's wild there are 3 large-parking-lot Beer Stores on the downtown east side (Parliament, River, and Gerrard). Surely 1 or 2 of these can go. I've only been to my local Parliament St one to return empties.
