Booked the new Megabus route to Harrisburg when it was first launched to visit a friend there. Original booking was for May 27 and I got an email 3 weeks before saying it was cancelled. Rebooked for June 17 and just got an email saying it was cancelled again due to "operational issues"...

Since the current schedules go to June 24, my guess is that there will be an announcement Wednesday/Thursday of next week since that's the usual pattern.

Yep. I went to the US to pick up some online orders. I got to the customs agent on my bike at 3:10 and thought, there's no way in hell I'm making the 3:15 train. Biked like crazy and made it to the station at 3:16...no train on the platform! Turns out it was even later than the morning train...

More service is definitely needed. I'll probably have to take the bus back since I only need 6 hours there, which puts me between the 3:15 and 7:15 trains.

I'm on the first Niagara train and am having flashbacks to pre-covid rush hour trains. I haven't seen a train this busy in over 2 years.

I was hoping there would be more Niagara trains this year, but instead they cut the last trip of the day in both directions. Also, seasonal for 5 months instead of year round sucks. Metrolinx disappoints as usual.

The $10 weekend pass is classic price discrimination, and can be more profitable in some cases. People who care about price and wouldn't have taken the service otherwise will buy the pass and use the service. People who don't care about price and would've used the service regardless will tap...

They'd be stupid not to have the train in place by Victoria Day long weekend, but I wouldn't be surprised if they wait until June with how nonsensical their service has been lately.

I ended up crossing the bridge on my bike...it's only a 5 minute ride from Stanley/420. By the way, they ran 2 express and 1 local bus for my trip. Took the same time as the train but less convenient and comfortable of course.
