More Claude Cormier!! Give him keys to city. Let him do everything. There should be a Love Park right beside CN Tower. Or another one downtown w change of colour to heart- shaped water feature. Seriously. But it’s baffling why big city Toronto lacks high quality Landscape architects. There’s a...

No offense, “But could be much worse” is the motto for Toronto architectural design the last 50 + years. DRP has helped that tbh. Just changing up the greyscale palette to some more standout tones would absolutely help. I don’t mind the balcony‘s zig-zag’ish design, but then the mismatch of the...

I hate it even more after looking at it again at another site. It completely ruins the classic style & attractiveness of the heritage building. it’s astonishing how so out of place it looks. And someone on here mentioned that it’s an “interesting looking“ building up close. Well maybe if it...

I hate it as is. So unimaginative, uninterestingly chaotic & boringly dull grey- blue? Do over please.

City Hall & staff doesn’t so much ruin things but they are not visionaries or very ambitious. Most city halls in NA are not except for the super star cities, a level which Toronto keeps striving for but never fully gets to. But in saying that, the revised Forma Towers look better than ever imo.

This area will be looking impressive in a few years. Such a quiet area with lots of impressive building going on. But my god can someone build an “elevated park” across that road, over those eyesore rail tracks & GO Trains. In service Trains? Not sure. I think it’s time. Donors? Developers. City...

Not quite sure what I think of this building. It’s not great, sort of mid on Yonge, but could surprisingly be an attractive structure once built. Unfortunately, seeing way too much grey. That ruins it for me. (Grey should be banned in T.O) . A copper‘ish hue helps break that up very slightly. I...

I get it. I saw one Josh Matlow twitter post, who’s smart with a great progressive platform. And other housing advocates you’ve highlighted. Maybe it was the ..8 or 9 Bradford posts you posted on your twitter acc in the last 24 hrs, that got me perplexed. His agenda as mayoral candidate is just...

I have compassion. But Is this ”The Housing Now” City of Toronto account that keeps supporting & tagging right leaning “2-faced” integrity-less, politically deceitful mayoral candidate .. Brad Bradford? Right.

I like the look of attractive white clean building facades in cities . Toronto could use more white in their buildings. And more colour. I like the earthy amber hue reflecting from the buildings. Just make sure there’s absolutely not a smidgen of grey that ends up in the final design. Grey...

This design better evolve. Needs to be changed up (DRP) Even better would be a change in developers & esp architects. ibi is using white instead of grey- that’s at least a positive. And I’m fine w ibi building in GTA but NOT downtown. Maybe because I, like most everyone here, follow a lot of...

Glass & spandrel & concrete and grey-beige colour overload piled on broken roads.. That’s what I see all around Toronto. People like what they like in art & unmoved by other things. Hey, I can appreciate the historic relevance of brutalist style & even present day good design. Habitat in...

“Tyranny of the masses” Lol. Any other big city with historically smart, classy & beautiful architecture & I may agree w you. But not for the concrete grey city of Toronto in 2023. The city desperately needs vibrancy, light & attractiveness from its buildings today more than ever. Just to break...

This was my 2nd favorite design at first, but upon review, maybe I like it best. The outdoor public space stands out. It‘s vibrant & an attractive building design. Zero complaints. And if I have to read somewhere in media, that it was the wrong pick & they should have gone w the brutalist design...
