    you are definitely correct regarding risk "buying before zoning in place" ... but that is a norm commonly seen in most precon development sales, that's why there are vendor's conditional clauses in the APS again it's surely not good outcome for us as purchasers, but frankly it is nothing new

    I'm quite certain there are no grounds for lawsuits ... please talk to your condo lawyer and review your Purchase Sale Agreement ... its iron clad (just in case issues like this happen) good luck to all of us purchasers

    To be fair ... a project that is delayed for almost 4 years is certainly not buildable from a developers perspective (ie: sold @ 2019 prices, but material/labour cost has jumped as we all know and will continue to ... until the project could 'potentially' start construction in 2024 ... thats...

    Unfortunately it is real so sad .... MARGO is really CANCELLED Received the lawyers letter today with 2019 deposit returned (+$400 interest whatever) Highly doubt there is any merits for class action lawsuit as builders protect themselves in the APS to reserve all rights to cancel...
