    Before this project, the lawn was in really rough shape. It has been in rough shape for probably its entire lifespan (150 years?). Hopefully given this is the "landmark" of UofT, proper lawn care will take place.

    Today (oct 16) they are demolishing the old steam tunnel which was blocking the vehicle entrance to the garage since the start of this project. As well, here is a top down photos from today

    October 2 2023: I just wanted to highlight one of the photos from Northern Light. If my understanding is correct, It seems they are finally going to tear down the very old steam pipe that is awkwardly situated in the path of the garage tunnel. Take a look at the current steam pipe placement...

    interesting, why would they be setting up tree barriers then? I've been at UofT for almost a decade now and throughout all their major building construction projects, fairly permanent tree barriers have been used (made from plywood, not the orange mesh stuff) - so I'm assuming these barriers are...

    It seems major construction is starting at the proposed renovation site. There are "permanent" TPZ barriers up, along with a road closure (the through road between Sydney Smith and Lash miller was always closed to cars). Looking south at Lash Miller: Looking north west from St. George
