Are we only suggesting people being unfamiliar with the "via" phrasing? "Via" points out the train will go towards Union before going to Finch.

I may be thinking in a loop here, but if they know "Finch" equates to going north, shouldn't they also know the opposite is true for "Union"? So going south, before going back north. Also I am not sure how it's confusing for tourists. Let say they are at Museum station and going to Yorkdale...

Wouldn't surprise me if they cheap out and go with an east/west "annex" option: Instead of under, the annex concourses would be above the tracks. The SkyWalk incorporated into the west annex and the CIBC Square park connected to the east annex.

Probably easier to do cut and cover than elevated, given "Bathurst North" and Sheppard West line 4 platforms will most likely be underground. The transition from underground to elevated will take up couple hundred metres between the two stations.

This stretch of Sheppard is ripe for densification. Should probably include a station between Faywood and Wilson Heights.

Still irks me they call this "subway and streetcar map". At least two lines are neither subway nor streetcars. Just call it "TTC rail transit map".

Seeing how it's mostly off-street, and considering the passenger volume, this is the perfect route for high floor LRVs.

There should be less need for 504 to end at Broadview once the new route and OL is up. It should instead terminate at the Port Lands.

Would this drive up the toll even more in the process? Province paying the tolls = more trucks using the route = more traffic = consortium raises toll (even faster) Not sure how much the toll will increase over 20 years if that plays out. That's probably the big variable.

Sheppard West has the Don River crossing obstacle. The feeder opportunities are also kind of limited, when compared to Sheppard East. It will only be built for network connectivity and redundancy.
