The same thing is happening at the Jarvis and Church intersections. I think the LED signs aren't visible enough in direct sunlight, and they're probably too far away from the actual signals to be noticed by drivers (I'm being generous here).

The parkette should be moved to the corner of Queen & Parliament in order to cushion vehicular impact. Both buildings on either side of Parliament have been struck by errant drivers in recent years.

I vaguely recall these big bright LED supplementary directional signal boxes (as in the pic above) installed at Yonge & King a year or two ago. Does anyone remember what happened to those?

I just learned that Enterprise Rent-a-Car at 32 Eastern Avenue (the SE portion of this parcel at Eastern & Sackville) has relocated to 65 Regent Park Blvd (One Park Place).

The Lavazza-branded cafe in the King Edward Hotel has closed. If you were curious about what the coffee scene was like in 2002 or so, you just lost your chance.

That plaza gets really busy in the spring, summer and fall in the absence of the food concourse. Brookfield makes good use of the space with a rotating selection of food trucks and markets, which gives it a strong sense of place. The Richmond-Adelaide plaza is underutilized, by comparison...
