Why bother spending money on a schematic design if the City was unwilling to approve the building's massing and density? I don't debate we aren't planning experts... but if the City's idea of good planning is a thicker building that completely cuts off natural light to its neighbour on McAlpine...

Any plans in the works for the Booth Yards / Enbridge Lands?

Going all spandrel for a rental building seems bizarrely dumb...

Since we're stuck with the damn thing, this needs to happen throughout the entire extent of the Gardiner. Also why is it so hard to do have a decent public realm situation under it. Off topic, but what happened to that WT proejct? The state it's in is so bad it would cost so little just to at...

I beg to differ. Templehofer Feld in Berlin is a hugely successful and interesting public space: https://futurelandscapes.ca/tempelhofer-feld Mind you, it's surrounded by dense neighbourhoods.

There will be! A lot on Wellington directly south of the KING courtyard will become a park connecting the two projects.

Nice. Interesting that the neighbourhood render doesn't show 31R Parliament / 'The Ribbon Building.'

I wonder how this site qualifies to continue work under the latest restrictions.

Quick progress on cladding last week or so. View from my balcony. Is it true that a Provincial order stopped the enforcement of the Municipal Noise By-Laws? These guys have been starting work at 6/7am on Saturdays. Pretty annoying.

$1M to the First Parliament project that's now being used as a Ontario Line station? ha

How many UG levels will 141 Bay have? Can't find the architectural plans on the Dev App portal, just for 45 Bay for some reason...

Why isn't Planning pushing for just one taller tower between the two Waterclub Towers to increase tower separation and sunlight to the lower levels of 200 QQW?

This project must be being shopped around now that they've successfully closed the deal with buyers at Clover? I imagine YSL must have been pretty well sold to start construction

Some glazing was installed last week.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I wish they'd put a multi-purpose trail (through a road diet) along Stephen Dr in that gap in the lower Humber Trail. Or in a fantasy world, a low-impact boardwalk through the marsh.
