The below picture once was Montreal Trust, where my aunt worked between 1968 to 1995. I used to visit her there before we would go for lunch.

I have a question about a building I once went to in Etobicoke about more than 20 years ago. It was called the Rubber Workers Union Hall and I saw a few small concerts there put on by bands from Newfoundland. To my knowledge it was located on Islington and Birmingham Avenues and I took photos of...

All I can say is...yucksters! Such an eyesore, but I like the fact they brought back the Sam's sign a block to the south.

Another thing I miss about the red Gloucester cars was when it would pass over an 'X' or 'Y' track or space in the third rail and the cars would go dark one by one!

Funny how the 'Sam the Chinese Food Man' would later become another Asian food place! I went to the Sam's with my mom back in 1977 before we went to our summer cottage. Fast forward 39 years later: I returned to Korean Grill House at the end of April when one of my co-workers left for Croatia ...

Love the Queen/Spadina shot! I miss the Lite-Bite Coffee Shop. That was the family hangout after the Saturday matinees @ the Horseshoe every week.

Wow...and just to think after the blue scaffolding comes down it becomes George Brown College! I remember when I studied Photoshop and Illustrator in 2009 I lounged around the top of the lower flat building in between breaks.

Today, while going to work, I saw not one but [B]three[B]of the new articulated buses on the Dufferin line. It's about time they arrived! My upstairs neighbour and aunt rode in one of them on their way to Dufferin Mall, and they were quite impressed by them.

What's more interesting is that they have to (eventually) cut down ALL of the platforms on the St. Clair streetcar line to fit the new streetcars. What a pain that will be! My thoughts: they should keep the current streetcars on St. Clair.
