Having seen prefab multifamily townhomes go up in Seton virtually overnight I expect this to also go quickly.

That Seton one makes me wince every time I pass by it. To make matters worse it sits across from the soon to be central park and the architecturally noteworthy highschool and the ymca. Makes its hideous cheapness all the more glaring. Cedarglen builds awful multi family.

Buildings like that give Inglewood it’s gritty character. Another sterile condo only detracts.

I am really starting to dislike Truman.

This will sound like a silly question, but what do they do for cladding on the zero lot line and how is it done? Is it just plain concrete?

There was a drilling truck and what looked like survey crews across 114th from the Deerfoot Inn and Casino. Looked like soil sampling in the ROW between the solar farm and commercial buildings on 114th. First time I’ve seen activity there. Could it actually be happening? Finally?!?

Looks more like a human warehouse now. The spandrel will be awful and from the street no one will see the narrower crown so it will essentially just look like a box. Anything ornamental has been hacked off.

They featured the old Sears in The Order.

How dangerous will ice torpedoes be off that steel sloped roof? Love it btw.

Seton main street:

the first of three towers at the Douglasglen TOD site looks topped out. Only took a couple weeks. Wonder if some of it was prefab? As taken from across 114th at the park and ride.

That garbage chute slide makes me think of a similar one that's been on top of the Southcentre Safeway semi-permanently for what seems like years. Not sure what they're still finding to throw out up there, but at this point I'm amazed there's still a roof.

I meant the structural walls of the building.

The walls look really slim for a cantilever as long as that no? Or is it just additional reinforcement in the floorplate?
