I think once the trees grow up and create a canopy, the park will feel more 'open' than it will initially. The sightlines will improve over time.

As an aside, I was recently in a minor accident at 106 Street and 98 Avenue. Rental vehicle tried to turn left onto 98 Avenue from the RIGHT lane, right into my car.

That section 116 to 117 st was probably the worst of the whole stretch, with terrible sidewalks/asphalt patches and old-timey wood power poles. Great to see it take shape!

Procura won’t ever be developing the land. They lost that right when walked away from the property and their obligations to maintain it. The property has been expropriated by the city. The city owns it, will demolish it, and put it back on the market to hopefully recoup a bit of taxpayers...

Graffiti on green shack and sidewalks has been removed by Parks Operation already. Mural Festival is working with City to determine best way to remove off the mural.
