I honestly think you could do it. You're the opposite of Holyday in so many ways. But you would have to take it somewhat seriously. Mounting a credible campaign will be costly though, you'll need at least 60k. Your object would not be to sway the typical voter in your ward (over 50...

Downtown Grocery Store List (current + proposed)

While Farm Boy does well at College Park, I don't feel they would be the right fit here. I'm underwhelmed by their offer in their newest, best locations. I'm not sure I'd go the grocery route there again. The strength of that former space was in fact its cafe/food court type offerings and...

I have amended the thread title accordingly. TY. Just for @Paclo to follow along...... I said Newpoint originally in the title field as that was the name offered in the Planning Report.

@ProjectEnd 's point above is a trump card here; but to the extent you could try to squeeze something narrow in, maybe, you need to know that many retail and office tenants at TEC have covenants protecting a minimum amount of parking on site, both reserved and public.

    2028 United States presidential election

Governors and Senators are the most common candidates for President. Though Trump is among those who vary from that mold. Vice Presidents are also not an uncommon offering. In respect of the above. Governor Newsom (California) is a frequent mention; as is Governor Pritzker of Illinois, and...

This new to the AIC development is located in the s/w quadrant of the Queen/Parliament intersection, it does not include the heritage building on the corner destined to be the new St. Lawrence district library. * * (its shows as included as retained heritage, but in fact has been sold to the...

So you want to post cycling info in every single thread? No. That's why we have threads, to sort material by subject. Sometimes a cross-post is warranted, but it is forum etiquette to note that, and it is generally done for subjects without a clear dedicated thread.

    Toronto Toronto | Seaton House Redevelopment | 58m | 10s | City of Toronto | B+H

The problem here is not development that helps the poor and/or homeless; the existing use of the site has been as a shelter for decades. The problems here are that the proposal in its current form will spend upwards of 16M on underground parking for staff, dramatically inflating the cost and...

Remember, you're running for Councillor against him next year, you really should be talking to potential campaign managers and fundraisers about now; and making sure you save up some vacation days for campaigning!

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

I'm not sure what you're asking. The existing program did result in a fare rebate if you use both the TTC and GO, but renewing it doesn't change anything. There were several different augmentations under discussion, none of which are going forward right now.

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

Further note, I have now confirmed that the renewal is for 2 years, so no improvements are likely til March 2028.

Please do not post links to the same report in multiple threads without a compelling reason. You've also posted this is the cycling thread. It contains no information that I have not already posted, and the headline is misleading, but I digress.

Unfortunately, @ADRM has not had this project spiked yet...,....and its heading towards construction as a colossal and overly expensive, under-achieving flop. https://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2025/gg/bgrd/backgroundfile-260425.pdf

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

As I said it would, some months back: https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/gtha-transit-fare-integration.20248/post-2256535 Unfortunate that none of the enhancements they were looking at are moving forward at this point, that means they will likely be deferred to at least 2027. But not...

    Parks - new & revitalized

@DSCToronto this stage of the process/report is new, but the idea is not. We discussed it previously in the Humber Gap Trail since the two plans overlap. https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/mid-humber-gap-trail-study-city-of-toronto.32411/page-3#post-2162389

Downtown Grocery Store List (current + proposed)

I'm up that early, but posting on UT and doing the NYT Crosword, and catching up on email, and having my very needed coffee. Out the door is more 10'ish. Farm Boy certainly isn't 'cheap' but its not luxury pricing either. As with any chain, it depends on what you're looking for... For FB...
