    VIA Rail

The morning trains are most likely to be on time (obviously). I did however experience a half hour delay with the maple leaf departing in the morning. Could have been an issue with track slots Into Union in the morning.

I'm not sure if there is one answer or one solution to these problems. But cuts to social programs and mental health programs won't help anyone. We need to help stop the core issues like poverty from happening in the first place. But the cost of living and low wages makes it hard...

The deployment of social or crisis workers on the subway is a good start. Also having police patrol the U portion of line one is also good. But the core issue is that these people who use the TTC for shelter on cold days have social issues, mental issues, addiction issues and homelessness. So...

There needs to be a multi step approach. But this "you have to be clean to get housing" Doesn't work because you need an address to get a job, you need a place to sleep, otherwise how can you get clean?

How did Denmark solve homelessness? It is clear that providing housing first to the homeless individual is a strategy that is implemented in many different areas of the social services process in Denmark, and has also been successful in lowering the rates of homelessness to the small number of...

You can lock them up but after the 72 hour hold and they still refuse to take their medication you can't keep them. Now if they tried to jump infront of a train then because they tried to harm themselves they have to get therapy. But even that they can skip out on. Unless it's mandated by a...

You would need to overhaul the interpretation of the mental health act. People have free will which is interpreted as such that it's their free will to refuse treatment. Just like if I have a terminal illness I have the right to refuse treatment. The problem arises when that person doesn't...

To be fair in cities such as Winnipeg and Edmonton they are seeing a huge growth in population. Hence an increase in transit usage. It should take into consideration vs the increase in ridership. That would be more accurate.

I thought they removed all of it in the early 2000's? They did all those weekend closures to remove it. So did a piece break off the wall and fall onto the tracks?

Line 1 Yonge-University: No service between Sheppard-Yonge and Eglinton stations while we clean debris at track level. Shuttle buses are running between Sheppard-Yonge and Eglinton. TTC: Electric and alternative fuel buses

Its almost like they are using the emergency brake application to stop at a bus stop, imagine a person who is injured or disabled trying to hold on for dear life? I was sitting in a row of 3 and it knocked me over one seat because they brake so.hard.

TTC: Electric and alternative fuel buses

I think that these Hybrid and E busses have brakes that are too powerful or sensitive. Drivers seem to be taking advantage of this to slam on the brakes too often leaving people flying or holding on for dear life.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Would it be practical to use the EXO comet cars that are being retired if there are not enough LRC'S around? Doesn't look like we will be resolving the issues with the ventures anytime soon. We would need to swap the seats with the ones from the retired LRC's. You could use the galley in the...
