I don't think Fords realized that streetcars carry an extra 40-50 passengers than regular buses (and if you factor in shuttle streetcars, that number increases quit a bit more). He also probably doesn't realize buses use Biodiesel, and lots of it. I wonder how often he rides a streetcar downtown...

Well seeing as how Chicago's city was planned using concentric zone rings (Burgess' model), their metro system represents that quite well as it has 'branches' of lines going into different areas.

Pretty neat, and a lot more easy on the eyes than some of the tourist information centres in the U.S. I guess it's about damn time!
