What is public is the land that the Province wants to expropriate. As a Torontonian who uses Billy Bishop frequently and supports that airport, I will absolutely not support paving over the park or expropritating any part of the Islands.

It is remarkable how the City can spend money to have something look worse than it did before. Some really boneheaded decision making or outright graft. I enjoyed the wooden bridge too and the asphalt looks incredibly ugly.

Hard disagree. Lots of rez and multi rez development east of Dundas where the Bloor street entrance would be a lot more accessible than the Randolph entrance.

It makes no sense to me why they wouldn't connect it to the Bloor entrance. Such a huge design flaw and a huge cost in terms of functionality. Alejandra Bravo, the local city councilor, should be advocating for having it link up to the Bloor entrance too.

I did that bike ride this summer, up on Lansdowne then through Earlscourt and Prospect cemetery. It's a beatuiful ride but yes the connection from Lansdowne to Earlscourt needs serious improvement and is a danger for both pedestrians and cyclists. Bridge directly from the Greenway to Earlscourt...

Agreed, it is phenomenal how well those two buildings complement each other. This looks like it will turn into an iconic Toronto shot once the building is complete.

I am really glad the city is doing this. It would have made no sense to leave that connection unconnected. Small things like this make a huge difference in the daily lives of people living in the area

So what did you hear several months ago? That interested tenants were touring? Because I haven't heard of any lifesciences tenants looking to lease in the Toronto market at all.

If you have any leasing updates please do share. I haven't seen any indication that it's leased, let alone fully leased.

The west-facing facade of this building is such a good opportunity for a public art or mural project by the city or the developer. Will add so much to this area. I'm thinking of how iconic the Leonard Cohen mural has become for Montreal.
