I agree this is a perfect example of the 'missing middle' that many of us would be happy to see sporting up all over. I'm also hoping that the investor driven' high'towers are going the way of the dodo bird. I do love tall towers but we can do better.

I live near here and have been watching the demo progress. They have been very methodical and responsible. I really hope the construction of the apartment building is prompt.

I can't say I thought it was 'Stacking modular crates' but who cares it looks great to me. It looks Scandinavian.

The difference being the Chicago towers are designed to be interesting while many Toronto towers are forced by zoning bylaws to have the sloped roof therefore the look in Toronto may seem contrived.

It is what it is . Townhouses on a busy thoroughfare. Not a high pedestrian area but good infill IMHO. Not an architectural wonder but not bad.

I live very near this site. It is for for certain going through the demolition process. I have chatted with the workers.a few times. When construction begins I do not know. I hope immediately after. The lot a couple doors down (Post loft condos by 'The condo man') has been vacant and over grown...
