    PM Mark Carney's Canada

Supreme Court is supposed to review Quebec's Bill 21 soon. Hopefully they rein in Notwithstanding Clause, because it's use is accelerating and that is troublesome. Our system is not working properly if you need to preemptively override the Charter for regular issues. The Federal government...

Because buying bombs ain't like buying new tires, boyo. Since you're so clever, where do you suggest they buy them? I suggest stop talking like you have a clue when you clearly do not.

Not to worry, the USA will soon be world's largest supplier of Brawndo. It's got what plants crave.

I'll try to get some updates, but the site looks basically the same as photos from last year

A big issue with this is it doesn't include construction & renovation costs. Especially for MRI/PET/CT, this is a big item.

Death now is being reported 75+ with 300+ unaccounted for ... Awful. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cdxe9r7wjgro On the surface this looks like Grenfel but it is a actually much different. For Grenfel, the design of the building and material chosen led to the fire being disastrous. In this...

You are assuming she cares about this woman. I would not take that for granted.

Can you explain exactly what "feminist foreign policy" is? Because from what I understand, even the previous government did not define it.

Yes, exactly. Current Russian GDP per capita is $17,446 but median household income is $3600 per year. Some people's brains are cooked.

That isn't why Haredi do not want to be conscripted. They believe full time Torah study is their job and contribution to the defense of Judaism. (Also, obviously I am speaking in general)

    PM Mark Carney's Canada

No, it does not measure income. It is simply the gross domestic product divided by population. If GDP does not measure income, then neither does GDP per capita. Wealth inequality can make it a misleading statistic. I'm not saying it does not measure the wealth of a country. But you are arguing...

    PM Mark Carney's Canada

Do you mean median income? GDP doesn't measure income, but total economic output. So you cannot break it down like that. Even per capita GDP is not a measure of incomes. Also, I have never heard of Median GDP statistics before. Median gross domestic product?

President Donald Trump's United States of America

No, he can veto it. Congress can override the veto afterward with a 2/3 vote from both Houses. Sure, it seems likely in this case that Congress would find 2/3 to override it. But then again, I don't think anyone expected such an overwhelming vote on this issue, so who knows what might happen.

President Donald Trump's United States of America

It would be quite shocking if he vetoed it after those votes.

Don't forget that the 170 MP Liberal caucus includes the Speaker, who didn't vote.

President Donald Trump's United States of America

Look, she can fight to release the files. That's fine and it's good. I won't criticize her for that, because I agree with her goal in this case. You're right that Democrats should be working with her (they may already be, I am not sure) on the issue to pressure the government. But there is a...
