It's going to be funny in 30 years when all the people who bought condos on the exciting store-rich Yonge Street realize that the entire street is shitty glass condos.
I used to live roughly at this intersection. It's a relatively busy, but unexciting and unattractive part of Bloor. Could definitely use some life. I wonder if this has anything to do with U of T - lots of buildings owned by them in this area.
It is a kind of ugly building when you look at it up close. But the shape of it is elegant, its an excellent addition to the core and skyline, and I'm sure most people would rather have it in our city than not.
^ Agreed wmedia. I've always been a supporter of this building despite its disappointments along the way. The fact is that this building has a huge impact on the CBD and with time we will grow to love it, much like was with Scotia Plaza.
