i'm glad you're at peace. It's interesting how much angst this one building has caused so many people. I guess the whole boot thing was kind of controversial, like a big foot stomping on the city. based on the cladding so far, it's apparent to me that L will have a pretty significant impact...

I think the frosty part is a mistake. personally, I would have gladly done without the juliet balconies (which are quite useless) and just gone with the excellent glass which really looks like ice.

yep, I think people overreacted about the cladding. it's just fine as you can see. looked good in the sudden rainstorm today as well.

love the fact that the north side has no balconies. the curtainwall will look stunning with no picnic furniture out there. and I believe none of the balconies on the other sides jut out of the building but are kind of tucked away inside so we won't have to look at too much picnic furniture...

I do like what RAW put out. I personally love that long strip of green space. unfortunately and realistically, they need to put something like the REAL SPorts Bar that Air Canada Centre has. Something double that size just to prove that bigger is always better in this world

I stood up close to L Tower the other day and the north side is quite striking. can't wait to see it as it curves. I also believe that the top has a diagonal cut to it. I hope they follow through on that. I too was a little skeptical of the cladding at first, but having seen four floors...

well I agree with Steve's sentiment. maybe we will be proven wrong and Aura will be the most beautiful condo tower in Toronto but I'd not put money on that. I think Aura is OTT myself. it's the Death Star of all condos.
