Scotia is stone, this is not. While the colour burst is very much welcome...........not all that closely related either.

    Mayor Olivia Chow's Toronto

I don't entirely agree w/your assessment here. On point one: I think its clear the province insists on being the builder/owner of such assets as I've noted in the past there are implications on provincial credit ratings and international borrowing and tax vehicles. The City will not be the...

Just 2 from a fair distance, one from King, and another from Front; taken on April 22nd, 2024. While not the most revelatory pics they at least have the virtue of omitting the cladding here! LOL

Not really, no. The towers on that one weren't bad, and did feature colour; but that podium was such a clunker. While, the original design would be an upgrade over too much of what has been built; I think the latest iteration here is an upgrade on the earlier proposal.

    Toronto Toronto | Bloor-Yonge Station Capacity Enhancement | ?m | ?s | TTC | AECOM

I get what you're aiming for now; but its still problematic. Pre-pandemic Line 1 was nearing capacity. In order to inter-leave trains from Lower Bay (Red) into the mix w/Yellow (from Spadina), you have to reduce service by 1/2 north of Museum. You then have the added complexity, that if...

Not my field of expertise either, though I've read a few of these in my day. I will say though, that when you model, the first thing you have to do is consider prevailing wind directions and what is in between your proposal and that wind. Then once the wind arrives at your tower, it is...

    Toronto Toronto | Bloor-Yonge Station Capacity Enhancement | ?m | ?s | TTC | AECOM

There is no connection between Line 1 at Bloor-Yonge and Lower-Bay, no practical way to make one. Lower Bay connects the University Line section of Line 1 to Line 2, just north of Museum.. *** Even if one could make such a connection, you would be hugely inconveniencing the majority of...
