That seems to be the idea with Community Bus. Though they are run with minibuses and have a very limited schedule. The TTC recently launched a new Community Bus route in Scarborough that connects with Guildwood GO Station.

The 36 goes past Humber College. The route doesn’t end there.

Because they would have to reprint and install new maps again not long after doing that for the Finch West line.

They actually have an LFLRV symbol. Its rollout appears to be pretty limited. I’m guessing because not much new signage was needed.

The service hours on conventional routes were not really conducive for a day and night out in Toronto. On-Demand was a good alternative, but they frequently got all booked up. So I’m glad to see they are running until midnight to accommodate people on later trains.

There’s not really a good time to do that work is there? Last month they deferred a weekend closure and had to catch up on a Monday. People hated that.

Oh the decorative bridge lighting. A few lights have been out and others just stuck on the same colour for a while. Yesterday it looked like whole sections were out.

I think that would be more confusing. They could put the wheelchair symbol next to the station name, though, like New York.

I think you misunderstand what they’re doing. It’s not about having a new livery. It’s about having no livery. Just ads.

They need to budget a replacement for these maps when they do a heavy rebuild on the Rockets. My ideal would be replacing them with an LCD display that just shows one line at a time.

Apparently there is a media event planned for this week for the new GO Transit MCI fleet. I don’t know when for sure, but this could be it.

The washrooms throughout Union Station are not cleaned frequent enough nor throughly. They just do the bare minimum and it’s gross. I don’t even know who to complain to. Such a high traffic area needs constant attention. I was at a mall near the Brooklyn Bridge, and they had someone stationed...
