A half kilometer walk is not very convenient. TBH, the whole continued existence of Woodbine racetrack is so mind-boggling to me. People drive to a place to watch horses run in circles and bet on it? This is fun? I don't want to yuck anyone's yum - it's just very strange for me.

Those panels have been up for months. They were test panels.

The Rexdale stop seems to be the major difference. I think most councillors, dealing with 900 things that day, couldn’t see what the difference was, so opted for the original recommendation. But also, this is just a recommendation from the City of Toronto’s Executive Committee, and literally...

That "Life is Beautiful" sign - oooof. That is CRINGE. The sign isn't even beautiful!

No, it seems like Crisanti wanted to amend 5b and his petition to amend 5b failed. 5b in its original form stays.

Torontonians are very risk-averse! It's not a surprise that our skyline is dominated by bank buildings and accounting firms.

What do we think the current height of the building is? When is it going to pass the height of the Four Seasons Hotel (200 m) and become the second tallest building in Yorkville? (I know that YV is in the mix here, too - it might be currently beating the One.)

Reading the original pages of this thread, there was a lot of consternation about the name "White Squirrel Way"! It all feels so silly now... And, regarding the tearing down of mature trees: there was also complaints about that, too - in Paul Garfinkel Park (the ground was contaminated). I...

Are there any pics of this mythical curtain wall installation?

I'm totally okay with the colour, and with painted brick. As long as it looks sharp and it's done well, it isn't a problem for me.

Great photos! The light was really beautiful today. Cool to see the progress on the mechanical floor cladding - excited to see what it will look like!
