I recall talking to one of the higher ups a few years back. Said the family's main goal was to ensure the owners were happy living inside the units. Hence they put their focus inside and didn't really care about the outside.

I think of Steve Job's quote about Microsoft when I see the comments here about Aura. The building is for most part a big success (save for the basement). Not easy creating such a massive building. Lots of people now live here, filled a big scar on Yonge and I'm sure a lot of money was made...

Lots of cranes. Pinnacle does it again.

Buildings in Toronto are selling so fast they barely need to do any marketing. Spending extra for the look is not necessary.

The cladding is going to disappoint from what I see so far. Let's see if the balconies can save it.

Canary yes but do we know that those other developments will be anything beyond Starbucks, RBC, Shoppers, Subway and more of the same? Here's hoping.
